I've been writing stories for as long as I can remember. I recently went back and looked through journals from my childhood. My father and teacher's intention was that I write down what was happening in my day so that one day when I wanted to look back on my childhood I could. What I actually used it for was telling stories.

It wasn't until 2009 that I picked up writing in earnest, making friends with people who encouraged me and did a lot of writing themselves.

It wasn't until 2015 that I realised this was what I wanted to do for a career.
