The Most Dangerous Writing App.

So I discovered a website the other day, that, I personally think is pure genius. It's called the most dangerous writing app. (check it out here: The Most Dangerous Writing App).

Essentially what is does, is it 'steals' your words if you stop writing for too long. The smallest time period you can use is five minutes, and it goes all the way up to an hour.

What I really like is that I can copy and paste too and from the app itself. so I never risk not being able to keep going after my time runs out. They also don't suddenly cut you off when you reach your time goal. This is absolutely amazing to keep me on task, and if I decide I don't like what's happening. I can let the words fade away into nothingness. The app counts your words, and your words per minute while you type. The statistics staying there for you to see once you've reached your time goal.

There is also a 'hardcore mode' where you can't actually see anymore than the last word you typed. I found that this gave me a higher word count - but that was also partially because I just retyped words rather than trying to 'backspace' and fix errors.

So, to prove it (read, I really wanted an excuse to keep playing with it). I got my friend to give me a prompt, and I'll write for about five - ish minutes. Let's see how this goes! :)

A wild ... appears!

Her heart raced in her chest, feet slapping against the ground below her as she raced down the street. Dodging in and out of people to the beat playing in her ears. Smiling and nodding to fellow joggers that passed her by.

She paused at the lights, looking both ways before crossing the road into the park. There was no hesitation, her feet taking her towards her favourite spot.

Flowers bloomed around her, spilling their joy and colours for the whole world to see. Brushing against her legs as she cut through the bush to her own secretive little spot.

Her long fingers pulled her earbuds out of her ear. Cutting off the music that pulsed, letting the soft sounds of nature take its place.

Birds whistled overhead, wind whispering through trees. The waterfall bubbling as leaves crunched underfoot as she snuck up to the river. Her azure eyes scanned the area ahead of her, settling on the back of the man in the river. Water rushing past his hips and caressing his bare back.

There was no hesitation when she kicked off her shoes, discarding her electronics with her shoes and the gentleman's clothes.

The water was cool against her legs as she stepped into the water. Trying to make no noise as she crept up behind the male. Her hands reached forward, closing over the man's shoulders. Laughter peeling from her lips as a yell of fright tore from his.

"A wild Aria appeared!" She announced through her laughter as the man reached out to wrap an arm around her waist.

"I will have my revenge." He whispered, knocking her legs out from underneath her. A shriek pierced the air, followed closely by a splash as she disappeared beneath the water's surface.

"Oh, it's on." She spluttered forcing her long hair out of her eyes.

So yeah. Go try this app, see if you like it as much as I do!

Until Next Time.
