You woke, feeling gente fingers running up your side. They smoothed through your hair and ran down your spine. Starting the trail all over again.
“Good Morning love.” Castiel whispered, his lips pressing to your temple as his hands stilled on your hips. You groaned, rolling over to bury your face in his bare chest. Castiel’s chuckle shook you, but he said nothing else as you tried to go back to sleep. His fingers continuing their track on the other side of your body.
“Did you stay the entire night?” You grumbled eventually, realising that you weren’t going to get anymore sleep.
“Nowhere else I’d rather be.” Castiel replied softly, kissing the top of your head.
“What if my brother’s saw you?” You lifted your head to gaze at your lover. Who was doing the same thing to you.
“I would have noticed if they were approaching Y/N.” Castiel smiled softly, leaning forward to kiss you properly. “I didn’t wish to leave after last night. Not until I knew you were alright.” He whispered, his forehead resting against yours. You fell back against the bed, smiling as he moved with you.
“Thank you.” You smiled softly, Castiel mimicked your smile. Kissing you again, his hand running up your side.
“You’re welcome Y/N.” You rested on of your hands on the back of his neck, fingers tangling in the hair at the base of his neck.
“I would do anything for you.” Castiel whispered, honesty burning in his bright blue eyes and taking your breath away. You never could quite believe that the angel in your arms and in your bed was the man you got to call your own.
“I love you.” Castiel kissed you sweetly with his quiet admission. It was the first time he’d ever expressed his feelings to you. Neither of you had ever really voiced how you felt, you spent too long hiding your relationship from your brothers.
“Cas-” You started when he pulled away, he smiled softly at you.
“You don’t need to say it back Y/N. Not if you aren’t ready.” Tears filled your eyes involuntarily. How had you found someone so perfect and understanding?
“Y/N?” Castiel panicked when tears rolled down your cheeks. His hands coming up to brush away the tears. “What’s wrong?” He kissed the top of your head. His body tensing beneath your hands as he tried to figure out what he had done wrong.
“You’re amazing Castiel.” His head slumped forward resting on your shoulder. Tension leaving his body as he breathed out a sigh of relief. You smiled, wrapping your arms around his shoulders and holding him closer to you.
“Thank you.” You turned your head to kiss the side of his. Your hold loosening as he pulled up slightly.
“For what?” He asked softly, kissing your cheek.
“Loving me.” You replied, Castiel smiled kissing you once more.
“I will love you forever Y/N.” He promised, keeping his lips fastened to yours so you couldn’t complain about how impossible his claim was. His hand ran up your arm, entwining your fingers and pulling your hand away from your neck. He pressed your hand down on the pillow beside your head. A subtle pressure to his kisses that had you giggling.
“Again Cas?” You raised a playful eyebrow at your lover. Castiel smiled softly, kissing your forehead.
“Not if you don’t want to Y/N. Never if you don’t want to.” You smiled, running your hand through his hair. He was so sweet and considerate. You lifted your head slightly, pressing your lips to his, teeth dragging on his bottom lip.
“Then it’s a good thing I want to.” You whispered, Castiel groaned lowly. His lips finding yours once more as he rolled to hover over you properly.
“Y/N! Breakfast is getting col-” You screamed in shock when your oldest brother just opened your bedroom door. Dean’s eyes went wide, flickering between you and Castiel as you clutched the angel closer to cover yourself.
“What the hell?!” Dean growled, his hand drifted to where his gun normally sat in the waistband of his jeans.
“Dean!” You protested as he continued to stare at the pair of you. His jaw clenching as his eyes rested on Castiel.
“Get out now.” He warned Castiel lowly. Castiel looked at you, waiting until you nodded your confirmation eyes full of fear for your lover. Cas sighed, leaning down to kiss your forehead before disappearing altogether.
“Dean-” You clutched at your sheets, using them to cover yourself.
“Cas? Really Y/N?! Of all the people-” Dean shook his head, pacing your room in an attempt to keep calm.
“Like you can talk? You dated everyone of my friends?!” You snarled back, your hand reaching for Castiel’s shirt and pulling it on.
“So you sleep with Cas? Hell-”
“We’ve been dating for over a year Dean.” You cut him off, Dean’s jaw dropped.
“We never... last night was... damnit.” You swore, trying to find the words to explain it to your big brother.
“Why didn’t you tell us?” Sam sounded dejected as he stepped into view, you sighed. The last thing either of you wanted was to upset your brothers.
“We were scared.” You admitted softly, looking down at your hands.
“I mean, Castiel’s been your longest running friend, and I’m your little sister... we thought...” You sighed, looking to Dean.
“You’re gonna need to learn how to knock, because I’m not letting him go, and he says he’ll love me forever.” Dean and Sam shared a glance at your words, talking to themselves in a way only they ever could.
“Come back Castiel.” Dean sighed, you looked to him glancing around the room as Castiel appeared in your ensuite doorway. Wearing his pants and a nervous smile.
“Hurt her, we hurt you.” Dean threatened, before he and Sam left your room. You had no doubt they’d have more stern words for you both later, but for now....
“You alright Y/N?” Castiel asked softly, not taking a step closer to you. You slid out of bed, smiling softly as Castiel’s shirt reached halfway down your calves.
“I’m good Castiel.” You whispered, stopping in front of him and stealing a kiss from his lips.
“I’m really good.”
